The Birch Room, located upstairs in our original 1906 farmhouse, beautifully blends historic character with simple, comfortable elegance. High ceilings and classic crown molding give the room a wonderfully spacious feel, while the original-style architectural details reflect the charm of this century-old home.

A warm exposed brick accent wall creates a striking backdrop for the bed, framed by two large windows that fill the room with natural light. Soft neutral tones, comfortable bedding, warm wood floors, and two cozy sitting chairs create an inviting space to relax with a cup of coffee, read a book, or simply enjoy a slower pace.

For added convenience, the Birch Room features its own ensuite kitchenette and private ensuite vanity, giving guests additional space to settle in and make themselves at home. The room shares a conveniently located hall bathroom with the neighboring Mahogany Room.

Just steps away, at the end of the hall, you'll find our cozy farmhouse library—a quiet little retreat perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, settling into a comfortable chair with a good book, or unwinding with a late-night read before turning in.

The White Oak Room offers a peaceful retreat with a little more privacy while still being part of the character and story of our historic property. Located in an addition made to the original 1906 farmhouse in the mid-1900s, the room blends the warmth of the original home with the charm of a later era.

Inside, high ceilings, crown molding, beautiful hardwood floors, and soft neutral tones create a bright and comfortable setting. A welcoming bed dressed in crisp linens, warm bedside lighting, and a quaint sitting area make White Oak an inviting place to settle in after a day of exploring Winder or simply relaxing at the farmhouse.

One of White Oak's most special features is its private exterior entrance from our lighted upper deck. In the evening, the softly illuminated deck creates a warm and welcoming pathway to your room and adds to the quiet charm of returning to the farmhouse after dinner or an evening downtown.
​
The deck is also a wonderful extension of your stay—step outside in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee in the fresh air, or settle in at the end of the day with a glass of wine as you relax and unwind. It's a lovely spot to slow down and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of farmhouse life.

The White Oak Room also includes access to its private bathroom located just across the hall, reserved exclusively for White Oak guests.

The Fox and the Farmhouse has two suites located in the Carriage House. Each with an ensuite bath, kitchenette, and outside seating areas so you’ll have plenty of room to relax and refresh.
Carriage House Aspen Suite king bed
The Aspen Suite, located in our charming Carriage House, offers a peaceful retreat with a little extra privacy and room to unwind. Like the Maple Suite, Aspen is located in the Carriage House, built in the late 1900s, a newer addition to the property that complements the character of our original 1906 farmhouse.

Inside, high ceilings and classic crown molding give the suite an open, airy feel, while soft neutral tones and warm amber accents create a welcoming atmosphere. A comfortable king-size bed, layered linens, and two cozy sitting chairs make it easy to settle in, relax, and enjoy a slower pace.

Aspen features its own private entrance, private ensuite bathroom, and ensuite kitchenette, along with a charming café dining table—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, a light bite, or a quiet meal in the privacy of your suite.

Just outside the Aspen Suite is one of our favorite outdoor gathering spaces—the lighted brick circle with a fire pit. As evening settles in and the lights begin to glow, pull up a chair by the fire, enjoy a quiet conversation, or linger over a glass of wine under the evening sky. In the morning, it's just as inviting for stepping outside with a fresh cup of coffee and enjoying the peaceful start to the day.

The Maple Suite, tucked away in our charming Carriage House, offers a peaceful retreat designed for rest and relaxation. While the original farmhouse dates back to 1906, the Carriage House is a newer addition to the property, built in the late 1900s, offering its own character while complementing the historic charm of the farmhouse.

Step inside and you’ll immediately notice the high ceilings and beautiful crown moulding, which give the suite an open, airy feel with just the right touch of classic elegance. A comfortable king-size bed, soft layered linens, and thoughtfully selected furnishings create a cozy, welcoming space to unwind.

With its private entrance, private bath, and private porch for relaxing outdoors, Maple offers the perfect blend of comfort and seclusion—giving you your own little retreat to enjoy morning coffee, fresh air, or a quiet evening outside.
